The sales and production process starts with the customer
and their needs. Structural log packages are processed to exact specification,
typically starting with a site-builder representing a customer/client,
providing design or rough floor plan. After a preliminary quote is
accepted, a plan deposit secures the process of producing an ArchiCAD
designed log layout. Approval of the log-package and 'industry standard'
terms initiate mill-manufactured production.

The process
is completed within three stations on a single line, 120 feet in length. A
short, separate horizontal rip saw line cuts foundation logs (split flat),
stair treads & runners, siding and meets other specialty needs, as
required. Customers are then given the opportunity to inspect the
structural package in the yard where it is completely assembled, erected
and tagged (every log, in sequence), for pictorial record then disassembled
for shipment. Average duration, 5 days versus 6 weeks for a comparable handcrafted
log package (2,500 sq. ft., for each unit.)
